What went on in Shags land in October then? Well we had a great Stupid Satda run up to the Tan Hill bike show, where weather occured. Lots and lots of weather, most of it moist, quite a lot of it cold and up on the top of the world it was even sideways, fookin'ell what a ride. We survived though, despite a ninja stealth kamikase pheasant trying to take Duncan out lol. Cracking run and thanks to the Tan Hill 1732 mcc for the invite. The drink in the bar later was well earned that day.
Then there was our Halloween Masquerade Ball extraveganza. What a fabulous night that was. The Shagettes played a blinder decorating the room out all spooky like, and those that provided food, raffle prizes and entertainment (thanks This Machine and Jeff) did a cracking job of emptying folks wallets and purse in aid of the Bailey Smith fund. You all helped us raise £630 that night, which is bloody mint I reckon. Thank you all, we're made up, and Bailey's family thanks you all too. See you on Dec. 9th for the next installment !
